A friendly reminder that the deadline for proposals is Monday, December 16,
2013.

The 2014 Visitor Studies Association
Conference<http://visitorstudies.org/conference-overview>
is to be held July 15-19, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM around the theme
*Building
Capacity for Evaluation: Individuals, Institutions, the Field*.

For our 2014 conference, VSA invites the informal learning community to
join us in creating a conference program that pushes the field of visitor
studies forward by addressing the increasing interest in evaluation and the
growing demand for evidence. This year, VSA will think strategically about
how to continually build capacity for evaluation.

*Call for Sessions
<http://visitorstudies.org/conference-overview/call-for-proposals>*

We encourage innovative session formats and the inclusion of substantial
audience discussion within sessions. Although we expect that many papers
will fit well within traditional formats (e.g., poster session, paper
session, panel, or roundtable), please feel free to propose alternative
ways to communicate your work. We are especially looking for ways to
involve participants through thought-provoking, reflective conversations
related to key ideas and issues raised during your session.

The deadline for submissions is: Monday, December 16, 2013.
For more details and to submit a proposal, go to:

*Call for Pre-Conference Workshops

to be held in conjunction with the 2014 annual conference. We seek
workshop leaders from a broad range of fields to present half-day or
full-day sessions that are lively, interactive, and offer participants the
opportunity to broaden their knowledge and skills in studying or enhancing
the experiences of visitors in a wide range of institutions.

The deadline for submissions is: Monday, December 16, 2013.
