Hello to all of you,
A mom is wondering about exclusive breastfeeding or mixed... her first baby
was breastfed 18 months (exclusive 6 months except the part in hospital)
and he suffers intolerance to high-histamine foods. As the mom.

From her health issues, she felt the "histamine affair" was more a
consequence than a fact and - she may have mycotoxins;

1/ she is afraid to pass her troubles to her new baby - she is due in 2
weeks. She was wondering about mix feeding or maybe not giving her milk
because of all that - which would be a problem because breast milk is the
best to her mind.... but she would be ready to add ABM to lessen the
risks.... (even if formula rises the risks of plenty of health issues)

2/ She was thinking about taking some "binders", so some specific binders
to specific mycotoxines; and the question is: can the new molecule
"mycotoxin binded to the binder" be transfered to her milk...

And... I have no idea; had a glance at all our textbooks......
800 daltons as a frame is one thing; here we have nanometers for the size
of the mycotoxin, one of the binders would be a specific algua which is
sold as powder but no idea about how many particles of powder will be
binded to the mycotoxin and inversely how many mycotoxines will be binded
to one particle of powder...

It seems that mycotoxin in the urine/blood of people is "brand new story"
for medicine (at least in France).

But, maybe one of you got the same situation? Or has some information; if
you know someone who knows, I accept that you share my email...

Because for this mom, feeding at breast is normal, and the best; thus for
the better good of the child she would be ready not to breastfeed or
alternate mixed feeding;

I told her well about the risks of formula feeding, I wish to give her more
information for the best "good" decision.

Regards,
Françoise
