ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

hi,
A few years ago, I founded an out-of-school, Saturday science club for
under-resourced kids in my neighborhood. It's called the Westside Science
Club and we're located in LA. I would be happy to share thoughts about
founding your own club. When founding the the Science Club, I forged a
partnership with a local low-income housing group, an important ingredient
to our success. For several years, we were funded by private donations and
out of my pocket, but this past summer, we recieved NSF support and built a
collaboration with Caltech.
Go ahead and ask me questions.
