ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We've had modest but pleasant success with converting a small auditorium to 3D theater. Not very costly and the company we worked with was flexible, experienced, and effective. The movies themselves are a bit limited but there is some good stuff. Contact me off list if you'd like more information.

Our science center is considering adding a theater to plans for our new facility, but I'm concerned that our population base won't support the cost to build and maintain a huge theater, plus the cost of films. What I'd really like is a multi-purpose room that could also be set up as a planetarium and other uses. I would appreciate guidance from other science centers that have explored similar options.
