Thanks. I agree 100%, and that is, in fact, the focus of the next 15 weeks of the course. However, if every storyteller today is using hands-on interactive exhibits, and 100 years ago nobody was using hands-on interactive exhibits, then it is fair to ask 1) where did they come from, and 2) why did they spread so widely. Whether or not a hands-on interactive is the best way to tell a particular story comes after I've had a few weeks to drum the fundamentals of good storytelling into them. ;-)
Substitute "digital technology" for "hands-on interactive," an d you have the crux of my question.
