All,

FYI, President Obama has announced his intent to nominate Dr. France Cordova to serve as the Director of the National Science Foundation. Dr. Cordova is President Emerita of Purdue University, Chair of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution, and a current member of the National Science Board. Her nomination must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate; its Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions has jurisdiction.
