I use AT&T (sbcglobal) as my ISP, and I just realized I may not get
all posts from this list. The ISP uses Yahoo Mail, and I user
Thunderbird. Mail first goes through Yahoo, and potential spam gets
directed to a Spam folder. Periodically I go there to see what got
mis-directed. I just noticed a post to the ASTC list. Visually it is
unrecognizable as ASTC. Most mail lists have a Subject like [list-name]
Re: Computing the diameter of the earth.
I'm looking at Yahoo mail on the web now, and see it has filters. Ones
for Sender, Recipient, Subject and Body. The ASTC list shows
ASTC-Community in the To field, as I look at messages in Thunderbird. I
suppose To is the same as recipient, so I'm going to try that. I suppose
though that will I ever know if it works, since the messages are
virtually impossible to distinguish from real spam.
Comments?
I guess I need to call AT&T, which is always a lot of fun. :-) Well,
maybe there's some hope. I think I can search for ASTC in the spam folder.
