In response to the public Wi-Fi question below:

Discovery Center of Springfield installed Wi-Fi throughout the museum. We have not opened it up to the general public. We offer this to individuals and groups that rent the museum at no cost and DCS utilizes it for our programs. Has not been a discussion to open it up to the visitor because of the "internet café" atmosphere.

We're considering opening up a public wi-fi network in our museum for
the convenience of our visitors who happen to use portable devices,
but don't want to create an "internet cafe" atmosphere. Has anyone
crossed this bridge and dealt with these issues? if you have wi-fi
available to your visitors, how do your visitors typically use it?
Would you recommend it?

thanks.
