Hello,
I'm looking for any published or unpublished studies that have measured the impact of cueing (i.e., having a researcher or evaluator actively recruit participants as opposed to, for example, using a posted sign method of informed consent) on visitor learning and behavior in museums and science centers. An example is this study by Beverly Serrell:

At this point, this is the only article we have been able to find, although we need to look more at research outside of visitor studies.
Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated.
Thank you,
Scott
