The Connecticut Science Center and the Connecticut State University System (CSUS) have partnered to bring science applications developed by university faculty at Central, Eastern, Southern and Western Connecticut State Universities to Connecticut Science Center visitors.
The “i4 Initiative” showcases science research and applications underway at the four universities, and highlights career paths for young people pursuing scientific fields. Initial applications to be featured include geology, genetics, navigation and technological simulations. Below are the four major applications that are highlighted at the Connecticut Science Center.

Hi there,
I am with the Arizona Science Center. My colleagues and I are working on
a proposal about how science centers can partner with other educational
institutions, such as universities, for content development and
programming. We have partnered with 2 schools at Arizona State
University. These partnerships offer reciprocal benefits. The students
are developing programming for our galleries as their capstone projects.
They get the grade and we get new content! I would love to find other
science centers where this type of partnership is happening. Thank you!
