ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Am going through these NSF ISE boxes, and am finding what seem to be an
incredible treasure trove of materials. Am guessing you all may know
the creators (or be the creators)... not quite sure what best to do
with all this!
ASTC folks - should you be the holders of this stuff?

Here's what's in Box #2:

A set of materials called "You're in Charge" from AAAS about barrier
free museums. Dated 1991, with the name Judy Kass on a post-it note on
the front cover.

Newton's Apple 10th anniversary archives from 1992 including full-color
poster

1992 materials from the Franklin Institute Teacher Overnight,
newsletters and articles and handwritten notes from various institutions
from the same year

Press kit and draft student materials from an event called "Building a
New World" that was sponsored by the MN Museum of Science in 1994, along
with a proposal from the creator of the project (Skyline), and piles of
back and forth correspondence from NSF (not very positive, I'm afraid)

A complete report on a project called WISE STEP created at the
University of Washington by someone named Carole Kubota

piles and piles of GEMS materials

Press kits from a Palo Alto based organization called "Institute for
Research on Learning"

A series of Addison Wesley publications by Russel Wright called
"Event-based science projects" (field trial versions) called Flood,
Earthquake, Leak and Hurricane

NASA's Great Observatories Paper Model Kits - compton gamma ray
observatory, shuttle glider and hubble space telescope

Will continue to go through, but - would love direction on who should be
the official holder of this stuff, since it's clearly not just a pile of
hands-on science materials!
