APPLICATIONS FOR 2010 ASTC DIVERSITY & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FELLOWS PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE ON ASTC.ORG

Launched in 2001 as an extension of the YouthALIVE! initiative, the Diversity & Leadership Development Fellows program is the cornerstone of ASTC's equity and diversity initiative. The Fellowship exemplifies ASTC members' commitment to reflecting the diversity of the audiences they serve, by supporting the development and advancement of science center professionals from ethnic/racial minority backgrounds, with disabilities and those who identify as LGBT.

Fellows receive complimentary registration to the 2010 ASTC annual conference in Honolulu, HI and a stipend of up to $1,000 to defray the cost of conference-related travel and lodging.

Applications for new and alumni fellows and detailed eligibility criteria can be found on the ASTC website at www.astc.org/about/awards/conference_fellow.htm<http://www.astc.org/about/awards/conference_fellow.htm>. Applicants must be currently employed at ASTC-member museum/science centers. Submission deadline is May 14, 2010.
