Dear all,

There is still time to participate in this year's Roy L. Shafer Leading Edge Award competition! The new deadline is Tuesday, April 19.

Get your science center or museum recognized for an exemplary accomplishment during the past three years. Or surprise an employee with an Edgie for his or her exemplary work since January 2008.

Nominate a bottom line-changing program, project, practice:
Leading Edge for Business Practice (2 awards: small institution and large institution)

Nominate a successful and innovative exhibition, education program, visitor service:
Leading Edge for Visitor Experience (2 awards: small institution and large institution)

Nominate a staffer, mentor, trailblazer:
Leading Edge for Leadership in the Field (1 award for experienced leadership; 1 award for new leadership)

Each award will consist of a glass "Edgie" presented during the 2011 ASTC Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, plus a paid registration to the 2012 ASTC Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
