ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Last week, the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft took high resolution shots
of Saturn during it's equinox. This equinox occurs only every 15
years or so when the plane of the rings is aligned with the direction
of the sun. This allows us to see the rings in 3D, as shadows point
out objects sticking out of the ringplane.

Only a few of the images have been made public but they are really
high-res so unless you have a really fast computer, I recommend
looking at the "Quarter Size" photos.
Enjoy!
