ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
From September 21-27, ASTC Connect will host an online forum entitled Expanding Roles for Youth in Informal Learning Experiences. The discussion will focus on how youth are participating in informal learning experiences as a target audience, as partners in design and development, and as content interpreters and creators. The discussion will be facilitated by members of the U.S. National Science Foundation-funded Asteroids! project team, led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute.
To join the forum, go to ASTC Connect, http://connect.astc.org/ log in to your account, click "Expanding Roles for Youth in Informal Learning Experiences," and enter the enrollment key ISE Youth to join. Don't have an ASTC Connect account already? Simply click on the "Create New Account" button on the login page and follow the simple instructions.
ASTC Connect Forums are asynchronous online discussions that automatically arrive in your inbox: you decide how much or how little you participate in the discussion. For more information, contact Wendy Hancock at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
