ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

Are you planning on attending the National Science Teachers
Association (NSTA) Denver Regional Conference to be held November
8-10 in Denver, Colorado?

NSTA's Informal Science Committee is hosting an Informal Share-a-thon
event on Friday, November 9 as part of the NSTA Denver Regional
Conference. Our Share-a-thon will take place from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
at the Hyatt Regency, Room Capitol 4. This is a special event
designed to highlight informal science organizations and the
resources they provide.

***There are still spots available for representatives from informal
learning institutions and organizations to have a table at this
event!!! ***

Please consider presenting at the Denver Share-a-thon if you are from
a museum, nature center, government or research-based outreach
program, broadcast or other media, or have non-commercial on-line
materials that support science teaching and learning. There is no
cost to display your materials and hands-on activities. It is a
great opportunity to showcase your programs, and to talk with
teachers and other informal educators. If you are interested in
having a table, please contact Elsa Bailey at
<[log in to unmask]>, as soon as possible! I can also be reached
via my cell phone at (703) 201-2867.

We invite all attending the NSTA Denver Conference to attend the
Informal Share-a-thon. We know it will be of particular interest to
teachers, administrators, informal science professionals, and anyone
interested in learning more about the broad range of supporting
materials, professional development, and student programs offered
through informal learning institutions and organizations.

Hope to see you in Denver!
