ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

NAME the National Association of Museum Exhibitions, is seeking proposals to
sponsor for the annual AAM meeting in

Denver, April 27-May 1, 2008. Not sure what NAME does you can check us out
at http://n-a-m-e.org/. Our mission "to enhance the cultural landscape by
advancing the value and relevance of exhibitions through dialogue among
individuals, museum leaders and the public."

Believe it or not, deadlines are already looming for NAME to submit the
proposals it supports for the 08 conference. What did you have you heard at
recent conferences you couldn't wait to tell the folks back home? Which
sessions, keynote speakers or conversations with old friends triggered new
lines of thinking? Don't let these ideas get away!

Remember NAME is exhibits and exhibition focused.

Now's the time to put your head together with some of your buddies around
the country and get your proposals to us by Friday, July 9. The theme for
2008 is "Leadership: An Open Mic for New Ideas." You can read about the
theme, get tips for writing a proposal, and join a new discussion list for
folks looking for panels or presenters at
http://www.aam-us.org/am/08/proposal.cfm

If you can't get all the participants lined up, that's OK. We have until
August to spit and polish the final entries. The forms can found on-line at
http://www.aam-us.org/am/08/proposal.cfm

Send session proposals to either of the NAME Program Co-Chairs:

Penny Jennings [log in to unmask]
