Good Morning Bob,
I'm experiencing problems with my email and wasn't sure if you received my request for the Curious George Science Books in Spanish. We would like 500 copies for our weekend bilingual program and our Outreach program. If this is a duplicate request, I apologize.
Thanks for letting us know!

CURIOUS GEORGE SCIENCE BOOKS AVAILABLE IN SPANISH
We have been presented with a unique opportunity to bring Curious George (in
Spanish) to the children and families that we work with in our Celebra la
Ciencia (_www.celebralaciencia.org_ (http://www.celebralaciencia.org) )
outreach initiative, which has the goal of increasing the involvement of Hispanic
families in science.
WGBH, producer of many PBS Kids shows, worked with Universal Studios to
produce 4-color, 10-page Family Activity Booklet inspired by Curious George. All
of the activities in the booklet relate to science, engineering and math
concepts. WGBH recently approached us to ask for help with the distribution of
10,000 booklets. What that means is, we need everyone's help!
They would like these, costly, high quality booklets, to be shared with
children and families that attend specific science programs/camps or afterschool
activities run museums.
There is a bit of a time crunch to get the booklets mailed out. They do not
have to be distributed immediately but WGBH must send them out before Dec.
15th. Rather than having them all sent to us, here in Washington, DC we would
like to find out who would be interested in receiving copies of the
booklets. They are free of charge and are a great resource for families! To see the
booklet (the hard copy is in color) go to:

Please let me know by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8th if you would like copies and how
many you think you would be able to distribute. Please include your name,
address, organization, how many copies you would like, how you think you would
distribute the copies, and your email/phone contact info.
Thank you in advance!
