The Lawrence Scadden Teacher of the Year Award in Science Education for
Students with Disabilities

 

Open to:

* All current K-12 teachers (general education, special education, or
science teachers, public or private);

* Must have taught at least 5 years;

* Must have made an outstanding contribution to science students with
disabilities.

 

The recipient will be recognized at the annual National Science Teachers
Association Convention in 2007 (St. Louis, MO) and will receive a $1,000
award to be applied to travel expenses for the conference.

 

To receive an application, please contact Sami Kahn, Awards Chair, at

19, 2007. 

 

Sponsored by RASEM (Regional Alliance for Science, Engineering, and
Mathematics for Students with Disabilities) New Mexico State University
and SESD (Science Education for Students with Disabilities).
