[sorry for cross-postings]
Dear Informal Science Educator,
Please help take a "snapshot" of informal science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education programs serving high school age youth. The Older Youth Working Group (an outcome of the Older Youth & Science in Out-of-School Time Conference; http://epo.mit.edu/conference/) is circulating a survey with the goal to gain a better understanding of the support structure, resources, and activities that are available to youth.
This information will be used to create a database of information that will be used to positively influence engagement, attitudes and perception, learning and skill building, and direction for youth around STEM education. Results from the survey will be shared with all organizations that contribute data.
The survey takes only 10 minutes to complete but the impact of your participation will be long lasting. Please, submit your input by May 1, 2010. The link to the survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KN9JXD9
For information about the survey or the Older Youth Working Group, you can contact Irene Porro at [log in to unmask]
