ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

Hello All,
My firm, XhibitNet, is currently completing work on a traveling exhibition
on black holes for the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics which
will open in late June at Boston Museum of Science. The exhibition is made
up of 10 networked PC interactives using bar code cards rather than RFID
(for cost reasons) and Jeff Kennedy Associates is the lead exhibit designer
on it. We do provide RFID as an alternative for those who prefer that
technology.
We developed the networked visitor experience support which personalizes and
collects the visitor's digital artifacts, presents them at a journal station
at the exhibition and then at a password-protected web site online.
While the visitor's interactions at each exhibit station where they swipe
their bar code is tracked, we are not tracking their exact physical position
and path through the exhibition otherwise.
More info on our work at www.xhibit.net.
