ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

It would appear from reading the mostly negative reactions that
counterfeit cards must be a real problem; otherwise why wouldn't
common sense prevail?
Rebecca, nothing irritates me more than blind policy - although I
don't work for an institution anymore, I'd say, hey, if they are
smart enough to present ANY kind of card and tell me they are
eligible for a discount, give it to them.
My own pet peeve notwithstanding, I applaud your thinking - why not
take it to ASTC and suggest they allow a small, as in 8 point,
imprint of the ASTC logo somewhere on the card/letter/etc.....
