Gore's film is reasonably objective. We don't know the time frame for the
rise of the oceans. It will probably be a long time unless we speed it
up. Just because catastrophic change doesn't happen in a life time or
three does not make it less catastrophic. There are no presentations
without bias. Our bias is science and rational thought. Global warming is
accepted almost everywhere except in the Bush administration. If we want
all sides we should tell our public that gas guzzling SUVs may be fine,
that AIDS may be solved by abstinence, and despite all evidence to the
contrary, maybe the world is only 7000 years old. The last time someone
asked us to be "objective" it was to include intelligent design and
creationism to balance evolution.
