ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Also in a local to Boston vein, Louis Latimer was a black inventor born
in Chelsea in 1848. Among other things, he invented a good way to
manufacture the carbon filaments in light bulbs. More info is available
on the web. I only know of him through a recent contact with the "Louis
Latimer Society" in Chelsea which does out of school work with Chelsea
youth. Alissa, let me know if you want to check in with the Latimer society.
