The Laboratory Safety Institute has a highly informative and entertaining
presentation on electrical safety. Ninety-nine percent of all the people we
train have never learned the correct way to plug in an appliance with a
two-prong, un-polarized plug. And, even if you get it right, you've only solved
one-third of the problem.

When is the next national meeting? Attendees would be enlightened and
grateful. ... Jim

Leyden Jars are definitely potentially very, very dangerous. (They =
almost killed Ben Franklin) I would never recommend that you use them =
unless you really, really know what you are doing and you are really, =
really careful.=20

I made some as a kid and survived the experience, but I also made =
thermite and gun cotton and now as a responsible and sensible (I hope) =
adult, I wouldn't recommend that anyone do any of those things.=20
