Along with many others out there I'm sure, I am a fan of NPR's Science
Friday.  For those nerds in the house that may not have been listening to
the coolest show on the radio at lunch today, they were talking about
something that y'all in the science center world might actually be able to
do something about.

There is a group of distinguished scientists including Nobel Laureates,
university presidents, members of congress, and Bill Nye the Science Guy are
calling for a presidential debate about scientific policy.  You can sign
their petition of support at sciencedebate2008.com

This might also be great to get out to your members no matter what side of
the isle they sit on.
