This guy is organising his own online science demo competition
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iGY5fEtJ_I Watch this space, but
nobody seems to have responded yet.

Here's a seriously good demo, where a metal foil 'boat' floats on a
very heavy gas. http://www.glumbert.com/media/float

I like the old story about the critic in the audience who stood up
and complained, "Sir, that was not a demonstration. That was an experiment."

Here are some of my own water-rocket experiments
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmD7zA4iFjE ;

I find YouTube highly addictive. A mixed selection of my recent
favourites occupies several pages, starting here
http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=ianrusselluk&page=1 I
specially recommend the Japanese news report showing a manned
water-rocket test flight. I suspect this may be faked, but it's
extremely funny.

Give people facts and you feed their minds for an hour.
Awaken curiosity and they feed their own minds for a lifetime.
