Museums in Conversation: Fresh Perspectives for New York State Museums
March 29-31, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY
Sponsored by the Upstate History Alliance and the Museum Association
of New York
A Fresh Perspective
The UHA/MANY Conference has a new name and a new format and we need
your ideas and leadership to bring it to life! We've decided to
leave the "talking head" sessions of past conference behind and focus
on generating a new energy through conversations and networking.
Program proposals are welcome from a wide range of disciplines and
profession, within and outside the museum community that focus on how
institutions are using interdisciplinary approaches to reach new
audiences and build innovative collaborations that strengthen program
organizational development.
Submitting a Proposal
The deadline for submitting a proposal is November 1, 2008.
Proposals muse be submitted electronically, as an email attachment to

download the proposal form and for more information. The program
committee will review proposals and decisions will be made by the end
of December.
