in the UK there is an interesting project called Planet SciCast (a spin-off from Planet Science) which gives young people training to create short films (usually science demos) which they can then share through a website.  Take a look at http://www.planet-scicast.com/

television, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet, etc. We are hoping
