This is a musuem trip not to be missed. It's an intelligent, wry and
wonderful place. Check out the frequent use of microscopes...

For those of you unfamiliar with it, I have some photos onto Flickr
from a visit last Spring:

Dear Science and Tech smarties,

As you know, ASTC is in LA next month. As you may not know, LA is
home to the most extraordinary technology museum in the country, one
which sadly is not a part of our conference.

Please join me and other like-minded creatures for a visit to the
Museum of Jurassic Technology (www.mjt.org) on Sunday October 14,
between noon and 3. The MJT is a truly unusual place, blending the
real with the surreal and experimenting delightfully with the concept
of the authoritative museum voice. Ever wondered what an installation
art science museum would look like? Then come on down.

More information about the trip here:

Please email me back privately if you would like to join us.
