Tamara,
It's on my goals and objectives for this year... Change
libraries to Chabot in the following paragraph.

"Some see...Web 2.0 as a set of ever-evolving tools that can benefit
online users," notes Stephens in the report's introduction. "With these
tools, users can converse across blogs, wikis, and at photo-sharing
sites...via comments or through online discussions.... Some libraries
and librarians are involved in creating conversations, connections, and
community via many of these social tools. But it may be time for more
librarians to explore how these tools can enhance communication with
users...."

It's "ask an astronomer" on steroids - and some of the answers will come
from the community (Leonard et. Al.)

Hi Eric,

Did you find anything helpful in your search for policies relating to
museum staff participating in wikis, blogs, etc.? We are discussing
staff blogging and wondering how to articulate some guidelines... If
you can share anything from your information gathering, I'd appreciate
it!

Best regards,
Tamara

Hello, all:

Do any of you have a policy for wikis, blogs, flickr sites, etc
started by your staff people that refer to the work of your museum?
Do you encourage, discourage, control, or some combination of the above?
I will be grateful for on list or off list responses.

Thanks!
