News just in. A federal judge, appointed by Bush in 2002, has barred the
teaching of Intelligent Design (ID), a religious view, in the Dover, PA high
school. This is a major decision in favor of evolution as the method that
should be taught in biology classes. The court battle went on for nearly two
months this fall, and the judge took about 45 days to reach his decision.
I believe the judge accused a couple of the defendants as lying about their
true intentions, which was to displace science in the classroom.
