ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
Does anyone have any experience creating an opportunity where visitors
photograph themselves engaging in "science discovery" at home, then send
their images to your museum for display (web-based or static graphics on
a changing panel/board)--or are we opening up a can of worms?!
We have some visuals that compare pennies to larger/smaller objects to
introduce the concept of size and scale to young children. We thought it
might be interesting to ask visitors to measure objects at home (using
pennies) and photograph/share their observations. We're curious to know
more about response rates, type of display, etc.
Your advice is appreciated!
Best,
Michele
