Dear Colleagues,
Please assist the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) in
creating hands-on materials for informal educators by taking just a
few moments to complete an online survey. By doing so, you will also
be entered to win a SIGNED copy of "Lessons without Limit: How free-
choice learning is transforming education" by John H. Falk and Lynn
D. Dierking.
The survey will only take about 5 minutes or less to complete, and
you can
access it at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=723851479440.
The information you provide will help us better serve informal educators
through "Astronomy from the Ground Up" - an NSF-funded program. To
find out
more about this project, including how to apply for FREE informal
astronomy
education training, visit our website at:
http://www.astrosociety.org/afgu
Many thanks for your assistance,
Michael Bennett (Astronomical Society of the Pacific)
Stephen Pompea (National Optical Astronomy Observatory)
Wendy Pollock (Association of Science-Technology Centers)
P.S.: If you have questions about the survey, or are interested in our
project and want to know more about it, feel free to contact Anna
Hurst at
the ASP, by email: [log in to unmask] or phone: (415) 337-1100
