The Edgerton Explorit Center is looking into hiring a full time fundraiser and like most science centers we don't have enough money to offer a great big salary to lure in the cream of the crop.  Does anyone out there currently use incentive based pay for staff - or on the other hand anyone tried it and given it up?  What are the legal issues as a non-profit?  We would be very interested in any advice on implementing this type of plan.
