ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hi all,
I used to teach High School Physics, and regardless of the age of the
child, I placed a lot of emphasis on the fact that a scientist tries
to understand the "world" (meaning the natural world, the Universe, life,
everything), by means of experiments and observations, which are necessary
tests
of his or her ideas. If your theory can't be proved/disproved by experiment
or by observation,
then it isn't science...yet (maybe some day it will).
Well, hope it helps. I just thought those two key words were missing out of
the
discussion.
Cheers,
Pedro
