Yet one more proposal - this one from The Tech.
Working title for the session -- Trials, Tribulations, and (Yay!) Joys of
Museum Floor Programs
Overall idea for the session - Many of us in Programs Land have to balance
the recurrent demand for new, fresh content with limited time, resources,
and budget. We would like to propose a double workshop session that focuses
on strategies to deal with the short development cycle, as well as the
prototyping and training issues typical of many museum floor programs.
We’re looking for a couple of partners dealing with similar issues to join
us for this workshop and bring their experiences to the table. Ideally, our
workshop partners would bring specific programs, either in progress or in
existence, for general discussion and remediation. We’d like this to be a
hands-on, interactive session ;)
Anyone interested in partnering with us for this proposal, please email me
off list at [log in to unmask] or call 408-795-6342. With the holidays
coming up, our goal is to submit the proposal before Dec 26, 2003.
Thanks! We look forward to seeing you here in San Jose next year!
