I saw your note about difficulties receiving email ... You may want to check
whatever spam filtering you are using. I have had two experiences of email
mail being caught in filters:
1. When our spam filter vendor updates the software periodically, much of
the list traffic gets caught in the filter - usually messages that have a
relatively generic name and/or have many replies. I scan my filtered
messages regularly and release the list messages. It usually takes a couple
weeks for the filter to learn what I want.
2. I have had problems communicating with colleagues because their spam
filters are set to bounce any email with active content, including URL
links. Once I set my email to text and removed our web address from my
signature, this problem was solved for me.
Just a couple of possibilities to check. Good luck!

I find it interesting that I am getting a lot of test responses but I never
received the original e-mail.
We are also experiencing e-mail difficulty but of a different sort. We are
getting a lot of out-going messages returned as undeliverable, even though
the addresses are valid. Are others experiencing this too?

For the last few weeks, some of us at the Science Museum have not been
able to receive all of the postings from ISEN. A few have come
through, but most have not. Our IS folks are trying to figure out what
is happening.
We would be eternally (well, maybe for a really long time) grateful if
you could respond to this posting, both directly back to the listserv

( I guess a related question should be, what happens when dozens reply
