Jay,

A few years ago I designed a similar exhibit for a wildlife museum and
found that giant globes are easier to imagine than to find. After
getting frustrated with One World Globes in Seattle, I found the
following sources:

Orbis Earthballs at < www.earthball.com >
Greaves and Thomas at < http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/greavesandthomas/ >

The Globe Corner Bookstore at < www.globecorner.com >

Hope this helps!
