ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I'm not sure the URL got corrected but here it is
<http://shop.usps.com/cgi-bin/vsbv/postal_store_non_ssl/browse_content/stampReleaseDisplay.jsp?OID=8618>
It may be that one of the surrounding <> was dropped. They are very important
for URLs that can wrap onto another line.
Gibbs was egarded as the most brilliant person (thermodynamics) no one ever
heard of (Bill Bryson's book on science, pp. 116-117). Good to see he's one of
the first in the series.
Series? They don't say anything about more scientists or even mathematicians. I
just noticed Darwin was born on the same day as president Lincoln.
