Sorry if this is getting off topic;
The "Southwest" is usually defined as Arizona, New Mexico, California, Utah, 
Texas, and Nevada; some definitions include Colorado.  I'm not aware of any 
definitions that include Wyoming, which is usually included in the 
"Northwest."
