ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

At the Science Museum of Minnesota, we consult with our American Indian
Advisory Committee (with members from many local tribes) about any
exhibits with native themes or artifacts. We listen to their thoughts
and objections from the beginning of the planning process. The
committee has been very helpful in selecting and interpreting objects,
developing volunteer demos around the exhibit, training staff and
volunteers, finding funding sources, and finally in blessing the
exhibit at its opening.
