exhibits in all types of museums seem overly concerned with "right answers",
or products, rather than the process and passion behind those things .

Paul: I'll second that. The interesting question, to me, is why? Over the
years I've come to the mushy conclusion that it is most often "the right
idea, the wrong application."

The best analogy I know of comes from the art world. In the early 20th
century, there existed a group of artists called "futurists." Their
manifesto spoke to embracing the industrial revolution - motion, speed,
man-made material, etc. Yet what came out of the group were static
paintings. In other words, their philosopy didn't translate into their
chosen medium.

On the other hand, I've lost some, if not all, of my purist prudishness.
There's room for, and should exist, all kinds of experiences. I may have
said it before, but I've come to view science centers as libraries of
experiences. You and I may go for separate reasons. You might be after
information on tax law (it could happen) while I might go just to browse.
The point is it would be less of a library if it didn't accomodate both of
us.

just my 2cents
