ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

In the last few days there have been some important events in the
discussion
of intelligent design and creatyionis. I am very interested in how these
impact and/or are responded to by museums. This is part of my long-term
involvement in the issue as a paleontologist, museum director, and now
consultant to
museums as well as in my role as a board member of the National Center for
Science Education.
I will appreciate any infoirmation about creationist approaches to museums
requesting/demanding "equal time" for creationism, removal of evolution
exhibits or programs, and any other ways in which museum professionals are
seeing
their institutions impacted by the creation-evolution controversy.
Thanks very much for this help and information. Please feel free to contact
me directly.
