I'm wondering what types of safety manuals are used or available when research is conducted at science centers.
Do the science centers assume that the researchers will follow their own institutions safety policies with creating specific guidelines and standards for the science center itself?
I would appreciate hearing about your experience with this.

Subject: Science Centres as the New Lab
Dear colleagues,
Science centres make great venues for research! I am looking for contacts at museums and science centres which have hosted studies conducted by external researchers, specifically, studies where visitors are participants or subjects of the research. See examples at the London Museum of Science http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/lets_talk/livescience.asp
and the Ontario Science Centre http://www.oscgarage.ca/explore/readmymind/default.asp
Please contact me at [log in to unmask] or by phone at (416) 696 4590 if you have any information.
Thank you!
