ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The Children's Museum of Utah seeks an experienced Exhibits
Director-Museum Planner to oversee planning and development of
approximately 40,000 square feet of quality exhibits and program space
for its future 70,000 sq. ft. facility opening in 2006. A "children's
museum you will never outgrow" will serve a core audience of families
and children with interactive exhibits in the sciences, arts,
humanities, and business with significant programming and
behind-the-scenes involvement for youth and adults. The concept for the
center is complete including preliminary gallery concepts. The final
development, design, evaluation and implementation of all galleries
awaits.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in exhibit project
management, with 2 years senior-level management experience. Will
demonstrate an ability to develop plans and innovate effectively, to
manage and integrate creative teams/consultants, and to develop
effective hands-on inquiry-based experiences with a passion for audience
effectiveness that includes integrating evaluation fully into the
process.
