Debra,

At Zeum, we received a donation from IBM of the Little Tikes Young Explorer.
It uses shell software from Edmark which does exactly what you want:

We are open now and there are some little tikes on the machine so I cannot
dig into the config and find the exact name and version, but if you email
Edmark I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

Greetings all,

Can any of you recommend a reliable desktop manager/shell program to be used
in a children's museum. I am looking for an application that upon startup
will display 3-5 large buttons for the applications that visitors can
access. Most applications that I am seeing have smaller buttons and
complicated background images.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can provide.

Warmest regards,
Debra
