david, i "*do* love the exhibit - on one level it is hypnotising, like
staring into a fire, on another level, i love to think about how fast the
particles are moving vs. the beautiful slow motion of the trail's
dissolution.

it would have been more honest if i'd said i had never thought of a way of
how i, as an exhibit geek, would place such an exhibit to make it engaging.
in other words, it is a tough cookie for me to think about......a corollary
is to not shy away from including something so magical and, as you say,
artful, just because its difficult.
