ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Attention Education and Programs Staff on the List:
We have been redeveloping our demonstration on rocket science, and are
trying to figure out a method of tethering the rocket to a cable. Does
anyone else have an established procedure of tethering rockets to
control the deceleration process after launch? If so, what is your
method of attaching the rocket to the tether, what do you use to absorb
the impact, etc?
Please contact us offline, either myself at [log in to unmask], or our
Public Programs Specialist, Dennis Fisher, at [log in to unmask]
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Director of Public Programs
