Subject: Return to Flight With NASA Education Online
Educators can now access resources that have been prepared to celebrate
Space Shuttle Discovery's Return to Flight and its journey to the
International Space Station. Join the team as NASA takes the next step
in preparation for exploring the Moon, Mars and beyond.
Teachers can visit one location for articles, classroom activities,
multimedia, and other resources to teach about the STS-114 mission.
NASA has also created a Return to Flight for Kids' Page that targets
children under 10 years of age. Children of all ages can explore the
parts of the Space Shuttle, play games, view multimedia images and clips
and engage in exciting kid-friendly activities.
NASA is targeting Tuesday, July 26 as the earliest possible date to
launch the Space Shuttle Discovery on the Return to Flight mission
STS-114.
